I had to call the company because I could not tell if product was working right or not. It has a very low frequency.I was told that it was working properly, and the newer models do not vibrate or feel like the older models. I wanted one because my beautician had one and used it on my scalp. Hers vibrated on your scalp. You could feel it. This was not worth the money. It's nice, user friendly & it works well. I like that it's compact and easy to store. I didn't give it 5 stars because it didn't come with instructions and the case doesn't hold the power cord or the adapter.
